Santa Caterina

Route: Circular route that starts at the Fontetes square and leads us towards the Pui road. We climb a stretch of this and take the path to Santa Caterina on the right. In this section, the views of the village of La Massana, Escàs, and Sispony are beautiful and we will see, to the South, the Pic de Carroi, to the North the Alt de Comapedrosa, and to the East the Pic de Casamanya. There is a bench halfway where we can stop and rest; let’s take the opportunity to observe the surroundings, likely accompanied by some birds or the livestock grazing in the meadows in front. Then we continue and descend towards the road (Avda. del Travès); once here we can approach the Museum of the Farga Rossell, or go down directly via the stairs and return by the street of the Palanques and the Antic Camí Ral, which will take us back to the Fontetes square. Notes: Very accessible route for family walks in an area close to the village and without difficulties.
